Alan Davis's work on exhibition at Staithes Gallery
Alan Davis is a designer-maker of architectural stained glass producing work from his studio at Lythe on the North Yorkshire coast. Much of his work is ecclesiastical and can be found in many churches across Yorkshire and the North East. He also creates glass artworks for both public and private clients. His work is very much influenced by the forms colours and textures of the natural environment in which he lives and works.

Since gaining a first class honours degree in Art and Design (specialising in architectural glass) from Sunderland University, he has continued to work as a full time artist.
