16th - 19th May & 18th - 21st July 2013

Robert Brindley is a very successful professional artist whose hightly prized watercolours, oils and pastels are inspired by the challenge of capturing light and atmosphere in a modern impressionistic style. While he travels widely around the UK and abroad to paint, he is primarily inspired by the landscapes and coastal scenery around his North Yorkshire home. He exhibitis regularly with the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.

His work features in many books and publications including How to Paint Watercolour Landscapes and The Artist. He has recently published two extremely helpful and well-received books: Painting Boats and Coastal Scenery and Painting in Pastels. His DVDs Painting Atmospheric Watercolour Landscapes and Sketching in Oils on a Limited Palette have also received wide acclaim.

Robert is a very popular tutor and demonstator giving help, advice and inspiration to his fellow artists whatever their level of expertise. We have asked him to do two weekends for us again in 2012 but recommend early booking to avoid disappointment.
