Lynton Parmar Hemsley’s work on exhibition at Staithes Gallery

Lynton trained in graphic design and served his career in advertising.

He worked in mainly in Manchester but also London as a storyboard artist and illustrator.

During that time, he also made his own paintings and has shown his work at the Wendy Levy Gallery and Collin Jellico Gallery in Manchester.  He has had considerable success as a portrait artist, attracting several high-profile commissions including one from the Bush family in the USA to create a portrait of their daughter Barbara.

Recently he has moved to a lovely family farmhouse in North Yorkshire and plans to dedicate his time and attention to landscape painting in oils.

We are delighted to be able to show his beautiful paintings at Staithes Gallery.
